Extreme Measures Racing Crew
Driver: Jonathan Mouttet
Racing Since: 2006
DOB: 06 / 08 / 87
Jonathan has been involved in boating from since his boyhood days. He has been an avid powerboat enthusiast for as long as he can remember, having owned his own boat and being “down d islands” regularly. He stems from a family with roots in the powerboat fraternity with family racing in the powerboat association’s rich history.
Being involved in boating, there was no surprise when Jonathan decided to take up racing in 2006, joining the Team Alien. This was a 29ft Phantom Hull (locally built) outfitted with twin 225hp Mercury engines. He raced with the team for that 2009 Great Race successfully in the 70mph class, and then again in 2010. After the first half of the 2010 season, he stepped down from the racing crew, but continued on as part of the support crew for the team. Being involved in the sport since then, with practically the same level of enthusiasm for the sport of powerboat racing, there is no wonder Jonathan was so easily drawn to the attention of the Extreme Measures racing team. When the opportunity presented itself with Team Extreme Measures, Jonathan jumped on bored the team without hesitation.
Since he has joined, there has been no doubt that he has been an asset to the team. Jonathan’s skill behind the wheel will continue to undoubtedly grow substantially as the Extreme Measures team continues to improve not only the boat and individually, but as a team.
Throttleman: Johnathan Tardieu

DOB: 06 / 08 / 83
Johnathan has been involved in powerboat racing by force from birth. Following in the footsteps of his Father, Godfather and uncles from the White Heat Racing team, Johnathan has been ever present and involved in powerboat racing. Having been around boats and the ocean all his life, he undoubtedly has a passion for the sea and for the sport of powerboat racing. The only break from powerboat racing came when Johnathan went to Arizona State University to pursue a degree in aeronautical management. Upon his return in 2005, Johnathan was plunged almost immediately back into the heart of powerboat racing.

He has been an avid boating enthusiast for as long as he can remember, having lived down Chaguaramas and being a regular at the Trinidad and Tobago Yachting Association, among other marinas in the area. Nicholai became involved in powerboat racing with Team Extreme Measures in 2014 being part of the team helping with the mechanics and general work being done on the vessel.
